I worked for Siebel/Oracle mostly based in their subsidiary edocs in the Boston and London offices.

Description

edocs was an integrator of an online billing and customer self service solution for B2B and B2C customers. At the time their solution was in front of 77 million global customers annually. edocs was acquired by Siebel and then by Oracle.

Clients/Highlights:

1. I created online billing and customer service interfaces for Telcos, Banking, Insurance and Healthcare. Clients included,  Swisscom, Verizon, BT, Telecom Italia, KPN Mobile (Dutch), Bank1One America and Vodafone UK and many more.
2. Worked on the Swiss Telecom (Swisscom) Split Billing project.
3. Worked on the Franklin Templeton project in Edinburgh.
4. Created an XML/XSL-FO prototype for producing customer bills to PDF and print from XML billing data. This included the product development and branding.
5. Developed the online application architecture for edocs/Siebel’s/Oracle’s Credit Card application including the screen design,  wireframes and click-through demo.
6. I also worked on a secure email project for sending customers their bills by email.
7. I mocked up an interface for their customer Sprint. This was a self service portal for this telecommunications provider for customers to change their accounts, pay bills and other customers self service applications.
8. I designed and coded all the print based CSS and screens for Cingular Wireless’ B2C products for their online customer interface.

General Stuff

1. Developed a presentation on a brand new type of UI architecture for online billing.
2. Worked with Online Billing data files to set up extraction routines for billing data (XML, CSV, ASCII etc).
3. Analysed and evaluated software products and systems traditional and online for commercial viability or usefulness in company workflow.
4. Developed programs for internal file asset and data management.
5. Created UML use cased for online applications and programs.
6. Created Flow, Interaction and System Diagrams for Online Applications.
7. Created Site Maps and Requirements Documentation.
8. Created charting and data driven chart applications.
