Emitch had a new CEO and a new direction. As part of this change the logo and livery had to be upgraded to give a fresh feel, impression and identity. I was working with emitch at the time to set up a creative studio with equipment, software and people. I developed the logo with John Johnston and livery as part of that process.
I then put the logo into production across stationery, presentations, signage and other graphics. emitch also has a sister company NeoDigital and a search brand Columbus. On the Columbus brand you can see that the cursor device has now become the two sails of a boat.
The central idea of the new emitch logo is a series of cursors clicking on an online ad. In this way the logo depicts the central product of emitch: online advertising in all its forms and programs. Once the logo was developed it worked well in a number of situations and being two colour was extremely cost effective.
